Teachers Who Transform

Education has always been a priority for Brad and Cathy Geier, who recently made a trail-blazing gift to help lift Bishop’s Lead with Purpose campaign off the ground. As community leaders and philanthropists, the Geiers have nurtured many worthy organizations and greatly enhanced San Diego’s business, civic and cultural landscape. The Bishop’s School is proud and fortunate to have their support.

Brad is the founder, co-owner and managing partner of Merlone Geier, a real estate investment company and a lifetime trustee of the School. He served as president of the trustees during the School’s 100th anniversary year and its Centennial Campaign. He is now serving as honorary co-chair of the Lead with Purpose campaign. Cathy is a former teacher and was a supremely active Bishop’s volunteer during her children’s years at the School.

In this special film interview, the Geiers reflect on the lasting influence that Bishop’s — and especially its faculty — has had in the lives of their five children, Caitlin ’04, Ashley ’05, Lindsay ’05, Will ’07 and Haley ’09.
