Ellen Browning Scripps founded The Bishop’s School in 1909 with a clear directive: educate young women to succeed in competitive colleges and help forge a better world. She created Bishop’s to look beyond the status quo and improve people’s lives.
In that same spirit, Bishop’s has investigated what high-achieving students need today to reach their fullest potential. The result is a unique philosophical approach that empowers students to go even farther in their learning and growth.
