Financial Aid
Help Build an Exceptional Student Body
During the crucial time of adolescence, learning within our Bishop’s community is a life-changing experience. One of our foundational responsibilities as a School is to create a student body that can strive for and represent excellence in many different spheres — academic, social, athletic, artistic and beyond. If we fulfill that duty, every student will be challenged and supported by an uncommon group of peers, in a school community that is known as exceptional.
“Having watched my three children go through Bishop’s and emerge skilled for college, with a deeper understanding of themselves, I am so proud of this campaign for making that experience more available to students who need financial aid.”
Two Paths Toward the Ultimate Goal
Strengthen Aid for All
In this campaign, we seek donors who will significantly strengthen the School’s ability to offer financial assistance. When you make an endowment gift to financial aid, you help ensure that talented chemists, athletes, performers, club leaders and many others will always forge an uncommon Bishop’s student body.
Uphold Military Families
We also seek to expand financial aid for students whose families protect our nation. With more than 115,000 active-duty service members in San Diego, we view this as an honor and an obligation to give back to those who sacrifice so much on our behalf. You can designate your endowment gift expressly for this purpose.
Thérèse Collins and Byron Georgiou P ’26, ’29, ’30 discuss what sparked their belief in financial aid.
