Our Bishop’s Community, United in Purpose
Throughout the Strategic Plan, we imagine a Bishop’s education that is even more ambitious, insightful and empowering than it is today. Success depends on a groundswell movement of supporters. Each of us plays a vital role.
As this historic campaign gets underway, we must use our staff and volunteer resources efficiently. Our collective work as a community will unfold in phases. The Board of Trustees will evaluate progress at each stage, deciding when and how to take the next step.
Feasibility Phase
– COMPLETE –
Some strategic goals can be accomplished within existing resources, and others require donor investment. In this phase, we ask the Bishop’s community to weigh in on which goals feel most compelling for fundraising support and why. This information helps the Board of Trustees to make informed choices about the ultimate campaign priorities.
Leadership Phase
– UNDERWAY –
In this phase, our advancement team and volunteers focus on two key components. Growth in The Bishop’s Fund is one leading strategy that determines how far we can travel toward the Strategic Plan vision and how ambitious we can be with the emerging campaign. Simultaneously, we engage with a focused group of individuals and families who can consider transformative gifts to additional campaign priorities. At this stage, the overall dollar goal of the campaign is still in formation.
Community Phase
– FUTURE –
Ultimately, results from The Bishop’s Fund and the focused donor group will give a clear indication of how and when to move forward with this final stage of the campaign. The Board of Trustees will declare an overall dollar goal, and our advancement team and volunteers will enlist the support of our entire Bishop’s community to deliver an extraordinary, collective vision for Bishop’s future.
